Our History
Founded in 1976 by Donald O. Olson and Kathleen Baldwin, Olson Irrigation began by focusing on developing and manufacturing irrigation products for agriculture. After a few years and based on the evaluation of the then-existing landscaping market, the company decided to begin developing landscape irrigation devices.
Working with businesses worldwide, large and small, directly and through third-party distributors, the company quickly established a strong reputation as a leading designer and producer of irrigation devices.
In 2017, Olson Irrigation was acquired by Evoqua Water Technologies and became a part of Evoqua’s Aquatics and Disinfection (A&D) division focused on water filtration.
In May of 2020, Martin Avery purchased the irrigation part of the business from Evoqua Technologies and brought Olson Irrigation back to San Diego, CA, where it was originally founded in 1976.
